Hi,
I’ve heard people say that after breakups, it’s important to “work on yourself.” I’m curious about how some of you have done this and whether it led to positive changes in your life.
I recently ended a long relationship and went on a date with a woman I had seen years ago. Unfortunately, I feel like I ruined it due to my insecurities, paranoia, and anxiety. She mentioned that she wasn’t ready to date and had a lot going on, but I can’t help but think my issues may have pushed her away.
I’m seriously considering therapy because the anxiety and overthinking I experience when it comes to dating are crippling. Has anyone else gone through similar experiences with therapy? If so, how did it help you?
Thank you for any insights or advice!
