Hi everyone,
I've been researching the pay for RCMP officers and found some conflicting information. According to the RCMP's official website, entry-level salaries start around $75,000, and after 36 months of service, it can increase to about $115,000. However, they mention that this increase happens in "most cases."
On the other hand, I've come across sources like Indeed that suggest an average salary of only $50,000 per year. This discrepancy has left me a bit confused!
If there are any current or former RCMP officers out there, could you clarify how the pay structure works? Is the salary progression typical for most officers, or is it more selective? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
