Understanding Canadian thanksgiving: When do we celebrate?

Hi everyone,

As we dive into the traditions of Canadian Thanksgiving, it's interesting to note that this holiday is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Many Canadians gather with family and friends for a festive dinner, but there's often a bit of confusion about when the main celebration actually takes place.

Do most Canadians enjoy their Thanksgiving feast on the Sunday before or on the Monday itself? Personally, I’ve noticed that while some families prefer to have their big meal on Sunday, others stick to the traditional Monday dinner.

What about your experiences? How does your family celebrate Thanksgiving? Do you have any favorite dishes or unique traditions you’d like to share? Let’s hear your thoughts!

Thanks
