Is it time to rethink minimum wage? Exploring the concept of a living wage based on the poverty line.

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that discussions around minimum wage have shifted towards the term "living wage." This raises some important questions: Should we eliminate the minimum wage and adopt a living wage model instead? If we did, would this living wage be calculated based on the basic needs of a single individual, a couple, or perhaps a family of four?

Additionally, how does this new approach impact the value each employee brings to their workplace? Could we see businesses struggling or even closing down due to the financial burden of higher living wage rates?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this topic! How do you think a living wage could change our communities?

Thanks
