Hi everyone,
I’m in a tricky situation with someone who used to be my best friend. We haven’t spoken in about 18 months, but she’s in my class, and I’ve noticed that she often tries to make eye contact with me. I avoid looking at her because I know she has a boyfriend, and my ego gets in the way.
It’s frustrating because despite the distance between us, she seems to be the one initiating contact through her gaze. This makes it hard for me not to think about her, and I often feel the urge to check her social media profiles.
If anyone has advice on how to resist this urge and cope with these feelings, I would really appreciate your insights!
Thank you!
