I'm curious about the experiences of community members regarding racism and homophobia in different areas. For instance, I spent two years living in Victoria, BC, and was surprised by how openly some individuals expressed racist and homophobic attitudes—more so than what I encountered back in the southern U.S.
How do these issues manifest where you live? Are there specific incidents or patterns you've noticed? It would be great to hear your thoughts and personal experiences.
