Hi everyone!
As Halloween approaches, I find myself in a bit of a dilemma. I’m not really up for giving out candy this year, and I’m wondering what the proper etiquette is for handling trick-or-treaters.
Is it as simple as turning off the porch light, or should I also switch off the living room lights to send a clearer message? I live in a house, so I want to be respectful to the kids and their parents while also enjoying a quiet evening.
What are your thoughts or experiences on this? Any tips for navigating Halloween without being a total killjoy?
Thanks
