Do you ever use a broom to sweep away the snow?

Hey fellow Canadians,

I’m genuinely curious about a winter habit I’ve picked up! A few years back, I noticed my dad started keeping a broom next to the shovel by their front door. Living in Alberta, where the snow tends to be light and dry, I’ve found that using a broom is super handy for sweeping away light dustings or tidying up after shoveling. Plus, with all that sunshine we get, those small amounts of snow can turn slippery really quickly!

But I can't recall seeing many others do this. If you have a snow blower, it makes sense not to bother with a broom. So, I’d love to know—do you sweep the snow too? What are your go-to methods for dealing with winter weather? Let’s share our tips!

Thanks
