I'm reaching out to any women who have served time in a Canadian adult correctional facility. I'm curious about your experiences and would love to hear your insights on a few key areas:
What were the living conditions like during your stay?
How were the meals provided, and did you have access to adequate nutrition?
Did you have to engage in physical labor, and if so, what was that experience like?
Additionally, I'm interested in hearing if you or anyone you know experienced or witnessed any incidents of physical or sexual assault by officers, or vice versa.

I recently read an alarming article about a female prisoner in the U.S. who reported being assaulted by a male officer but faced significant challenges in seeking justice. Your stories can shed light on this important topic and help others understand the realities of incarceration.
